The RJ45 copper electrical SFP transceiver module supports data transfer speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbps over distances of 100 meters. It is an economical alternative to add, replace or update a copper Ethernet port in a Base-T 1000 network equipment. The module is very suitable for use in high density applications such as LAN 1000BASE-T to switch interfaces, switched backplanes, servers, etc.


 

Small connectable copper format transceivers (ELECTRICAL SFP) are high performance modules that comply with Gigabit Ethernet and 1000BASE-T standards, as specified in IEEE 802. 3-2002 and IEEE 802.3ab. They support 1000 Mbps data up to 100 meters over category 5 unshielded twisted pair cables. The module supports full 1,000 Mbps data links with 5-level pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) signals. The four pairs of the cable are used with a symbol rate of 250 Mbps in each pair.
